Nurturing Your Green Companions

When it comes to cultivating a lush and vibrant garden, mastering the art of plant care is essential. From proper watering practices to warding off pesky pests, here’s your guide to nurturing your beloved botanical companions.
Watering Wisdom: Quenching Thirst with Precision
Outdoor vs. Indoor: Watering should be done according to the moisture content present in the soil. If it is outdoor plant we can water daily or on alternate days. Incase of indoor plant, weekly twice watering will be enough. Watering differs based on temperature and humidity So we recommend to water, only if the soil is dry (if there is no sufficient water content).
Ensuring Adequate Drainage: Letting Excess Water Flow Drainage is very important for plants, if the plant is planted in pot, make sure that it contains drainage holes. Excess water logging causes root rot.
Perfecting the Potting Mix: The Right Blend for Growth
The Magic Ratio: Potting mix should contain Redsoil: Vermicompost: and Coir pith in a ratio of 1:1:1. To increase porosity we can add perlite, vermiculite, river sand and saw dust to facilitate better root growth and aeration.
Fueling Growth with Organic Goodness: Nutrients for Flourishing Organic manure like biocompost, vermicompost, goatmanure, cowdung, bonemeal mixture, fish amino acid, panchakavya can be used for plant growth in 15 day intervals.
Sucking Pests: Safeguarding Your Greenery
Plants are majorly affected by sucking pests like aphids, thrips, mealy bugs etc. To prevent that we can use neem oil with soap solution or ginger, garlic and chilli extract as repellent. With these foundational care tips, you’re well-equipped to create a flourishing oasis that brings joy, serenity, and the beauty of nature into your home or garden.
