BNI Admirals To Honour Women Achievers

BNI Admirals Chapter is to host an event to honour women from different walks of life who made their mark nationally and internationally at Residency, Ballroom on March 12. Presided by the BNI Head Table members, President Amit Tolia, Vice President Lal Chand, Secretary Treasurer Bhavesh Mehta, the event will honour 15 exemplary women who are the pride of Coimbatore with an award for their excellence in their respective fields. The event will be attended by the 86 members of the Chapter and women audience. “We wanted to honour the women who excelled in their respective fields and put Coimbatore on the world map through their exemplary work”, said Amit Tolia, President of BNI Admirals.
The awardees include Gayathri Natarajan, Mrs. India Earth -2017/ Mrs. Universe East Asia-2018-2019, Sonica Vickraman, Karate champion and bronze medal winner of the world karate championship at Greece. Mookambika Rathinam – epic traveler, drove from Coimbatore to London. KP Shanti – Super Athlete, Won various titles and medals in athletics at the national and international level. Harini. P – a 12 year old silambam and Archery champion at national and international levels. Padma Shri. V. Nanammal – 100 year old yoga instructor, Srinithi malavika – champion pistol shooter, Thenmozhi Rajaram – Deputy Area Commander, Home Guard is a sniper and gold medalist in officers shooting. Deepa mohanraj – educationalist for differently abled.
Receiver of “Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Education Excellence Award – 2019”. Urmila Surana – athelete – marathon queen. Ritisha Niveda – Mrs United nation ambassador-2018 and Mrs South Asia UN-2018. Swetha – first female bike racer in Coimbatore circuit and dirt racing. 6 year old twin girls – Mahima and Mahita – future of Tamil literature. Dr.S.Kowsalya – Registrar at Avinashilingam deemed university scientist and authority on food science and nutrition.
