Ten Day Puttu Fest @ Ente Keralam

Ente Keralam has been enticing the taste buds of the Malayalee population and Kerala cuisine lovers of Coimbatore alike. The authentic taste has been replicated on the platter by following the guarded recipes of the God’s Own Country to the ‘T’. The restaurant is now all set to launch their Puttu Festival from February 8 to February 17.
“Owing to the incredible response to our puttu dishes during the food festival in Codissia last month, we decided to launch a Puttu festival with authentic flavours and special dishes in both vegetarian and non-vegetarian varieties” says Vijayakumar, Franchisee of Ente Keralam.
The Puttu festival will have around 10 varieties of Puttu which will include both vegetarian and non-vegetarian option. Some of the vegetarian options include wheat puttu, pineapple puttu and non-vegetarian varieties include chicken, beef and prawn masala puttu. The Puttu Festival will also offer some exciting flavours like grapes which is an unusual but definitely a lip-smacking combination. There will also be options to choose dessert variety of puttu which has a sweet note it.
Chef Srinivasan said, “We have included kid friendly option like chocolate puttu and nut puttu for them to relish. All puttu varieties will have three vegetarian accompaniments like the authentic combination kadala curry, ‘Cheru payaru’ (moong dal) curry and green peas masala”
Along with above mentioned accompaniments there will also be Kerala Pappadam which is also a popular side dish for puttu in kerala. Chef suggests ‘Ayila Molaggittathu’ a traditional Kerala Fish curry to be a delectable combination for the Keralaputtu varieties. Apart from puttu, the A la Carte menu will also be available in the restaurant during the festival.
