‘Teachers should be Santa delivering only joy and happiness to kids and not fear and punishment’. This thought-provoking quote comes from US returned software pro turned pre-school consultant and managing director of Shiksha Juniors Shrinithi Venkatesa Mohan alias Shrinithi Prem.
And the enterprising entrepreneur cum educationist chose to present this message during Christmas fete at her Shiksha Juniors Pre-school event with tiny-tots. Moreover, she is determined to make education enjoyable to children giving some enough space to them to learn as per their choice.
With her child centric learning module, Shrinithi makes it a point to understand children’s interest and imparts education without giving any burden to them. Making learning a fun for the children is her mantra which according her paid rich dividends.
‘Catch them young and watch them grow’ is yet another ideology for Shrinithi Venkatesa Mohan in tapping the innate talents of children and honing them to excel in their chosen line of interest. No exaggeration to say that pre-school plays a proactive role in identifying children’s interest and skills and teachers role is indispensable in shaping them to scale new heights.
Of course, teachers are role models to students. ‘Missile Man of India’ Dr APJ Abdul Kalam on several occasions has recalled his 8th class school teacher Siva Subramania Iyer at Rameswaram government school, who inspired him to become an aerospace engineer. There are umpteen such teachers even now, who motivate wards to show their prowess in their line of interest. Definitely, Shrinithi Mohan is one among them, who strains her nerve to bring the best out of the children. Kovai Metro wishes a Happy Christmas.
