The 18th-year annual day celebration of Krishnanjali Musical Training Centre ended on a grand note on October 2nd 2019 at Sree Purandaradasar Auditorium in R.S Puram. Krishnanjali was established with the intention of masking training in music and dance accessible and affordable to all. And since then, the centre has always stuck to this motto and trained all their students. 130 students participated and showcased their best talents on the day. Ranging from the exquisite classical, folk dance to the soothing instruments like mrithangam and veena, the students from all sections made the entire crowd cheer to their art. Dressed in their best, the children enthralled the audience. It was a proud moment for the parents as well. There was also a flute session by students which was a unique program compared to their annual events. The celebration ended with a scrumptious dinner for everyone. “It was a lovely event. A lot of our students did beautiful acts and they enacted the best on stage. The was also a huge crowd and it was a good show” said AL. Ulaganathan, owner of Krishnanjali.
As the event took place on the 150 Gandhi Jayanti celebration, the event began with everyone reciting “Raghupathy Raghav” and remembering our father of the nation. To put in a nutshell, the annual celebration marked fun and lots of creativity.
