The Department of Printing Technology at Avinashilingam Institute celebrated Paper Day on Aug 1 by spreading awareness on ‘Paper is Green’ among various departments in the University and conducted series of lectures on topics related to paper properties and quality for the students of Printing Technology.
As part of the celebration, posters and badges were distributed to Vice Chancellor Dr Premavathy Vijayan and special session was organised via live streaming wherein Dr.Madhura Mahajan, HoD, Printing Technology, PVG College of Engineering and Technology, Pune spoke about “Paper and direct relations between end-use requirements”. And the 2019 theme for Paper Day is ‘Hear from the experts’ involving special lectures by experts.
