It’s not unusual for people to expect something new whenever a new government comes to power. However, this time expectations are high as far as electorate are concerned. Having been gifted with a second term with a massive mandate, Modiji has a greater responsibility to fulfill the promises made by him during his earlier tenure.
And its heartening to infer from Modiji’s address at BJP headquarters soon after the results that BJP is committed to Indian Constitution assuring the electorate that Central government is a party to the progress of the States spread across the country. No doubt his magic words ‘Sab ka saath, Sab ka vikas’ (Together we grow, Together we prosper) is his success mantra in rewriting the political history to become the single largest party to claim right to form the government again.

Moreover, wildlife protection and tribal welfare schemes to be prioritized and rapid strides must be made on conservation of urban water bodies besides allocation of funds for desilting and maintenance of reservoirs in Western ghats.
Umesh said that regulating commercial plantations and mining practises in Western ghats is must and new project must be broughtforth to mitigate human animal conflict across India. And steps must be taken on eco friendly front to control hazardous gas emissions in tier 2 cities besides ensuring quality air and potable water for every citizen at affordable cost. Environment education with credit based practicals must be introduced from schools to colleges.

Moulana Moulavi M H Mohamed Aariff, Chief Imam, Masjidhun Noor mosque, Thirumarai Nagar, Podanur said that Ulemas are always at the receiving end with no special focus on their clan and added that housing is a big problem for Ulemas working on a meagre salary in different mosques and madrasas. “It is expected that Modi sarkar must give emphasis to housing facility for them and medical facility as there are lakhs and lakhs of elderly Ulemas, who are yearning for proper medical assistance.” And the wishlist includes pension for Ulemas and education assistance towards of Ulemas. Job security to Ulemas is must with decent salary package.
